Achieving Success through Seed Production

Sh. Rukhdhar resides in Sandkarmari village which is located in the border of Odisha and Chhattisgarh in Bastar district. He belongs to ST family of 7 consisting of his mother and father wife Brother and children. He had studied till 10th but having skills of farm management and plantation with irrigation techniques. In spite of agriculture land he believed to live with dreams through farm house plantation of vegetables. Financial hardships were the part of his journey but he decided to move ahead anyway. To remove these hardships and to provide a better life to his family he through of leveraging his agriculturist skills and earn better income through seed production. He therefore applied for a loan of Rs.5 Lakh which further helped him in nurturing his dreams. He started production of seeds at large scale and later selling directly to big seeds purchaser big seeds purchasing shop owners through agreement with him from his farm house. He is continuously growing and earning profits in business. Today he runs the seeds production business successfully and earns decent income not only to support his family but also providing employment to 30 to 35 ST people of his areas. He is also expanding his business by growing vegetables production like tomatoes chilies Karelabitter guard etc. and selling to vegetables purchaser or local mandis. He has also Mahindra company tractor having registration no. CG17KA9720 for his farm houses and Agricultural land. NSTFDC has played an important role not only to uplift the standard of life but also as partner to fulfil their dreams in large scale.
